Today, the Prince George’s County Professional Fire Fighters and Paramedics @iaff1619 presented a check for $20,000 to support our Children’s Burn Camp program to DC Fire and DC Firefighters Burn Foundation members. This donation comes from proceeds raised from the 2nd Annual Chief Nick Finamore Memorial Sporting Clays Shoot held on August 16, 2024. We want to give a shout-out to Local 1619 member Greg Meyer and DC Fire Captain Charlie Finamore for all of their hard work in making this event both fun and successful.

Last night the Monumental Sports and Entertainment Foundation announced that it is donating $500,000 to local charities as it celebrates the 50th Anniversary of the Capitals. DC Firefighters Burn Foundation, and @dcfireandems DC Fire & EMS Foundation! We are thrilled to each be the recipients of $50,000 in support of our community-focused programs. We are beyond grateful and honored to be chosen.
Last month, Starboard hosted DC Firefighters Burn Foundation for its 22nd annual guest bartending event. The night was a wonderful time and wildly successful with the most ever raised from the event: $10,119! A big shout out to Engine 30/Truck 17 and Engine 32/Truck 16 for strong showings and support. A huge thank you to Monty and the Starboard for allowing us to continue this tradition, and Blair Jost, our Chaperone Bartender who insisted on donating her pay from the night back to the Foundation. ...
